The Soundcheck

The soundcheck was supposed to take place at 4 pm, but the band arrived around 5:30... so they went right on stage, and played a few songs we were lucky enough to hear. First one was... Little Queenie !

The soundcheck didn't last very long, and the band had to go back to the hotel to get some rest before the show (they arrived straight from the Netherlands where they had played two shows the night before... Life on the road !)

So, as we had planned this small interview before the show, Bill came to us and apologized for the delay, saying that he would keep some time after the show for us, and inviting us to join him backstage then !

Until then, we were free to stay in the theater, so we watched patiently the opening act's soundcheck, and were front row dead center when they opened the gates :-)))
